In 2017, I was honored with the opportunity by my business partner to fully utilize
my interior design and architecture skills on a design and build project. The proj-
ect was for Platinum Rozzaq Training Center, located in Shah Alam, Selangor.
The training center is operated by Platinum Rozzaq Sdn Bhd, which was previ-
ously known as Spektrum IT Vision Training & Consultancy. This company func-
tions as an Autodesk Training & Certification Center, providing professional
training and certification in AutoCAD, Revit, 3DsMax, and Inventor to fresh
graduates and academic lecturers from the Ministry of Higher Education Ma-
laysia. The facility spans a two-floor commercial lot, covering 6105 square feet.
The design of the layout was meticulously planned with each floor serving
distinct functions. The lower floor houses three interconnected computer labs
with 48 workstations, a cafeteria with seating for 48, discussion rooms, a Muslim chairman
prayer room, a server room, and a storage room. The upper floor accommo- manager 1 manager 2
dates two connected seminar rooms for 40 participants, a reception lounge, lounge
a meeting room, another server and storage room, and a corporate office.
The center was designed to accommodate daily training for 88 par-
ticipants, and office space for 12 executives, five managers, and one
housekeeper. The design aimed to create a sustainable, productive, and Director void
homely environment. Aesthetically, the reception area featured laminat- Finance/HR
ed exotic wall panels as a backdrop and a minimalist-designed dropped documentation
ceiling with L-box lighting. The main wall of the lounge areas was paint-
ed red, complementing the lighting strategy and furniture arrangement.

I was solely responsible for the design and project management. The project 1 MEZZANINE F (FURNITURE LAYOUT PLAN)
involved coordinating with 10 installers and skilled workers stationed onsite, Scale 1 : 100
while furniture and fittings tasks were outsourced to third-party contractors.
The project was completed within three months.
