amidst nature, providing an idyllic escape particularly suited for city dwellers seeking tranquility.
2016. This resort is an initiative of the Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC), situated
on a sprawling 247-hectare site that boasts scenic lakes and extensive agricultural farms and plan-

the Kutai House—a traditional Malay house style that has been prevalent in Perak since the 1800s.

PATRO is one of the tourist attractions that can boost tourism in PERAK
with its unique traditional chalet designs on the exterior while show-
casing modern contemporary resort interiors. The resort was designed
to accommodate a fantastic experience combining agricultural ele-
ments and health tourism, indulging a serene natural ambient.
The project was initiated in 2014 by Perak State Agriculture and com-
pleted phase 1 project in 2016.

My Interior Design company had been awarded and appointed as
ID Consultant through an open tender with a ‘design and build of the
twelves (12) Villa Chalet (Phase 1)’ interior project.
The villas’ interior has been filled with custom-designed traditional
wood-based furniture and a fusion of modern elegance character in-
ventory with a soothing setting of warm textures and hues used on the
ceilings, walls, textiles, and wall art paintings.

Complementing the interior aesthetic value of the chalets, PATRO
endows choices of recreational activities such as farm tours in which
the resort guests are able to experience the local fruit harvesting such
as Mangos, Mangosteen, Rambutan, and Durian. Guest will have a
chance to ride Horses and experience the salted duck eggs process.

Although the location of this project is way outskirt and resources are
limited. My team has overcome the challenges and successfully de-
livered the project within the expected completion duration, and the
experience of contributing to this integrated construction project is
priceless.
